“You don't choose your vocation it is God who does first” These were the words coming from Rev. Fr. Jhonas Enopia, FC where in relation to the vocational campaign in the year 2013. Last, July 22-25, 2013 at Assumption, Baguio City the “Basic Orientation on Vocation promotion have been started together with the vocation promoters of Religious Congregations and all vocation ministry in the Philippines”. It was then a “Long time no see but, now I see you” for the participants. In regards of the activity Fr. Jhonas Enopia, FC actively participated in the event together with his peers in the activity they received a word of welcome given by Fr. Toter Resuelto. The event continuous with different activities and discussion and the fruit was plans and events that will enhance the increase of vocations. It was then a herculean task to face again by our advocators in the campaign period.
At the strike of 6:00 in the morning of August 03, 2013 at Carmelite Monastery the vocational director declared the opening of the Vocational Campaign throughout the Philippines it was then held at Lipa, Batangas City through a 4.6 km. fun run also known as takBOKASYON. Which participated by the different congregations including the Sons of Charity, namely Fr. Jhonas Enopia, FC and the seminarias Leonardo Sinoy, Rey Llaguno, Mark Cyriel Mendez, and Osben Pantorilla of the said congregation, streets was filled with holy people and it was looked like a feast of vocations. You can see in the eyes of the people in the street who felt very blessed to see the movement of religious group. The event is just a beginning because starting on August 5, 2013 religious congregations will visit Secondary and college schools in the country to continue the program regarding with the campaign and it will end on August 31, 2013. The event is very vital to obey, to love and to respond the call of God. It provides a light for God to touch the hearts of the youth to walk with Him and to become his disciple. One of the relevance of this is to be more equipped in Christian Life. We believe that God is the planner of our lives and we humans are the doers. The call of God is in different ways if you know how to acknowledge it. You can be a religious with your own just remember these four ways; to listen to the voice of God in silence, Reflect on yourself, Pray with full of confidence and live with humility as Jesus Christ.
